Game is very simple, but very overpriced. The quality is also not great. Id be upset to have to watch ads to play this let alone pay $3.

It works for the iPod Touch and iPhone much better than Crystal Defenders. Hard mode is hard. It does what its designed to do: entertain us. Yay.

This game is perfect for the iPhone/iPod Touch. The matches dont drag on, and the strategy is all there too. This game is worth the $5 without a doubt. Get it!

This game made me so angry. I clicked save and quit, exited the app, and then when I opened it again all my progress was gone!!!!!!!!! I had gotten so far :(

Back then when I use to play final fantasy tactics more faster pace and also worth my money !

The icon is wrong. It changes after the game has downloaded. Also, the game wont save my progress when I press SAVE AND QUIT. A waste of money. Im tired of starting over. I have installed the app numerous times and restarted my iTouch just as many.

Square has a reputation for quality games, and this game is enjoyable. However it is much too short. I finished in less than two days of occational playing. "Hard" mode has obviously not been playtested considering the shear impossibility of many levels. Id wait for 2.0 before purchase.

i synced my ipod and it did not show up on my ipod, it may be a good game to play but i just wasted $5 because the game wont show up on my ipod, talk about a rip-off!

This game is good but short I cant wait for Song Summoner to come to the iPod touch

Good game but the music is more happy chocobo and less pleasing to listen to. There is no way to play iPod music over the game. Please fix.

Ive come across many tower defence games include Crystal Defence, Knights Onrush, Defence Chronicles and this game. I have to say that Vanguard storm visual is better than Crystal defence but I just dont like the turn-base style of this game that much. If you like the classic style tower defence game and you are Final Fantasy fan. I think Crystal Defence is better.

I love the gameplay! This and crystal defenders rock! I am a huge fan of Final Fantasy and of course of square-enix! This game is amazing! Period! I am on the third area now and just love it! If you are reading this Square-Enix, please put an rpg on the iPhone, please! I need one on here! Something like Final Fantasy Touch or Song summoner remade for the iPhone! But these two games you have made are a great start for the gaming business! This game is so worth $4.99! The game is easy, short, and lacks enough differences in the units to make it require enough strategy. I feel like it has the amount of depth as a match-3 jewel game. For the price, I think its lacking. I think .99 or 1.99 is more appropriate.

Fast paced, feels a bit like Advance Wars. Good for the price, but hopefully upcoming Square games will build on the things this does right to make more in-depth, full featured titles. Visuals & music a bit lacking, but core gameplay is solid, fast-paced, and requires strategy.

I had a lot of fun with this app. It consistantly gives you new units to change up the tactics and new enemies to face. It may seem short to some, but when Vanguard Storm ended, I felt like I had been satisfyed enough with the game play it had to offer. Should take you about 3-5 hours to beat. My only complaint is that the ending to the game is incredibly weak and unrewarding. Very fun games and one of the best on the iPhone! Check it out.

There arent a whole lot of original games available on the iPhone; its mostly the same few genres over and over again. Its refreshing to see something new, especially something new thats a lot of fun to play!

Very good game. Easy to just pick up and play a few rounds when killing time. But SquareEnix please we are all begging you to port over a full Final Fantasy game to the iPhone. The iPhone desperately needs a good turn based rpg, only you can deliver such a thing.
